The Price is WRONG!!!!!!

Soooooooo...Today, Cameron, myself, Ashely Wiley, BOBBY, and some friends attempted to go on THE PRICE IS RIGHT! We originally planned to get there at 5am, as you get checked in at the gate at 6. WORD right? WRONG. First, Ashely is EXCITED to go. EXCITED!!!! Apparently it's been her life long dream to go on the show (only AFTER Cameron and I mentioned it to her the other day haha), but anyhow, she is very excited...AND her grandmother knows secrets. So, we decided to go EARLIER so we DEFINITELY get on the show. So now WE GET THERE AT 3 AM!!! And there are people LINED. UP.!!!! It's SPRING BREAK!!!! So, we wait for HOURS in the COLD. Soo, as hours pass, we FINALLY start moving. Soooooo, we're moving along in the line and everyone is HAPPY, but THEN, out of no where, these 3 OLD ladies (who happen to be Asian...it's important to the story) just ROLL OUT of this car, and get in line behind us. THEY JUST CASUALLY walk in line like they've been there since three! So, we are like "WHATEVER, they are BEHIND us, we don't car!" But the people behind us are PISSSSSSSED! This one woman tells them that you have to go to the end of the line. But they just acted like they didn't speak english or know what was going on. For like 10 minutes people are yelling, and screaming, and like "WTF!"...INCLUDING Ashely (who is RANDOM)! So then, we are stopped in line again, and I look straight and these two secruity guards come strolling up with main PISSED woman! They intervene! They are talking, people are watching, Bobby is taking pictures, it's INTENSE! And then, OUT OF THE BLUE, this OTHER Asian woman in front us is like gesturing to the 3 ladies in their native tongue to come up to them. THEY PLAY IT OFF LIKE THEY ARE FAMILY!!! And EVERYONE starts BOOING!!!! And Ashely starts screaming "booooooo! LINE CUTTERS! Boo!!!" IT. IS. INTENSE.!!! It's like a RIOT! EVERYONE starts trying to push pass these women and push them in the street! CRAZINESS!!! AND THEN this OTHER secrurity woman in a red jacket is there telling us to get out our ID's, and someone is like "they are line cutters," and the woman in the red jacket is like "WHO IS CUTTING!!!!!!????!!!" SHE WAS EVEN MORE PISSSSED!!!!!! And then all of a sudden the line MOVES! We start RUNNNING pass the 3 old women. ASHELY is screaming "GOO! GOOO PASS THEM!!! BOO!" She is going crazy!!! AND WE ARE ALL ARE RUNNING!!! And the other asian lady in front of us was told she had to leave, but then she CHANGED her story and was like "I DON'T KNOW THESE LADIES!" It was crazy! WOW.

Sooooo...now we get in the gate and we wait some more. We are number 220 in line! This is good! We have a good chance of getting in!!!! So, we are waiting some more, so we start playing BIG BOOTY!!! And then these RANDOM people from UTAH are like "Can we play." And so we have this huge circle, and the whole place is watching us play! hahaha. It was so great!

So...now, they tell us that we are on standby (number 33), and to come back at 11:30. so we split, chill, drive around, hang out with Bobby's uncle (random but fun), and WATCH THE PRICE IS RIGHT on tv! SO WE ARE REALLY REALLY REALLY PUMPED AND EXCITED! OMG! APOSJGPOAGJ;LDS ;SOO OOOOOOOO EXCITED! So, we RUN back, and are so happy. We get there, and Cameron and Ashely walk up to the guy and ask "So, where do the Standby's checkin?" And he was like "There's no room today." OUR DREAMS OUR CRUSHED! So, IT'S DONE. 8 hours of waiting, 3 crazy asian ladies, hundreds of angry people, and so many hopeful dreams, all for nothing. IN VAIN! Apparently, this was THE FIRST time none of the standby's were needed. It's SRPING BREAK! ANNND, people got there at 6pm the night BEFORE! And we were JUST NOT competing with that. So, better luck next time. NOW we KNOW! We are totally going to get on the show! WE ARE TOTALLY GOING TO MEET BOB! And it's going to be amazing!

Here's the evidence:

In this picture Cameron is PISSED and wants to go HOME.

update on MY life (and my car...)

So last night I decided that I'm being a good girl and I went to the gym after I got off work. It so happens that during peak hours at the gym, the parking is very sparse. I parked at the END of a row, not an actual painted spot, HOWEVER this is common practice at this gym and I counted 5 other cars who were engaging in the same practice. So. I turn off the car. I pull out my membership card. I apply some chapstick. I feel the car get hit.

!!!!

OH FUCK NO. I like LEAPT out of the car. This woman is slowly emerging from her car, looking at me like, a DURRRR. She goes, "I didn't see you..." and my head explodes. I was soooooo pissed. THIS IS WHY WE LOOK BEHIND OURSELVES BEFORE PULLING OUT OF A SPOT. She's trying to tell me she has to go, she can't stay, and I"m trying to get her information, but she wants to LEAVE so I just went inside to get an employee to witness the whole thing...when I get back out, she decides that there's no way of knowing that SHE caused the crack...it could've been there beforehand! OH HELL NO BITCH. She was like, I have to go pick up my two year old daughter, and I was like, no, you have to wait for the police to get here because I'm NOT letting you leave without resolving this. THEN this BLACK guy comes strolling up and he's like, "Lady, I just saw you hit her, I watched the whole thing happen from the bus stop." And so I'm like, fuck safety, and I tell the guy that I will give him a ride WHEREVER he wants if he will just hang around til the police get there to be a witness. So he stays, gets his friend from the bus stop to stay, and then offers a ride to another girl at the busstop....!?!?! But I do not even CARE. SO I'm standing outside of my broken little car in a t-shirt and shorts with these two black guys and random ass white girl and they are all telling me how WACK the other lady is because they saw/heard it happen and OBVIOUSLY it was not my fault. Then this old dude comes out of the gym and the 5 of us (the driver of the other car was in HER car) are just CHILLIN. This old guy starts telling me about Ashtabula, Ohio (which is where my grandfather lived but do I need to hear this RIGHT NOW!?!?) . The policewoman arrives, we get the information and I asked the police woman what to do now...and it's basically just all up to the insurance company right now.

So I drive these random 3 people to their respective spots (the Union, Rosemary St, this random APARTMENT COMPLEX) and then drove home. Of course this was the night I forgot my cell phone...so I ATTACKED it when I got back to the apartment. The Geico lady (my car insurance) was like, "basically, you were not moving so it's going to be pretty hard to paint this like it was your fault, even if you weren't parked in a legal spot...you could've been parked beHIND her and it would still be her fault." You better beLIEVE I was on the phone with that bitch's insurance company this morning at 8AM. Fuck yeah.

Why is my car cursed? I think we need to exorcize it. *siiiiiiigh.*

Dream it Girl!

I am very UPSET at the state of this blog. So, I am going to keep it going...

So I am doing well. I had an eventful weekend. Mmm...well, Friday I PA-ed for this new TV show on TLC. It's basically like American Idol, but of motivational speakers. ??? Yeah, I know that's what I said. But, it was kinda fun. It was a 12 hour shoot, but simple work. I'll most likely do it again next week. I got to stand in for one of the contestants while the host and crew rehearsed for the camera's and lights. That was actually pretty cool! It was neat to see how they run and film a show. It was cool to be on set and read from the teleprompter and shit. Cool experience. Mmm...so that was that. Saturday I started a class! That was really enjoyable. It's a 4week "intensive" workshop class with this film casting director. Mmm...then, I met up with some Carolina alumns. I met a few people who moved here too for coffee. I HAD SO MUCH FUN! I knew these people at UNC, but not closely. We were mostly just aquaintances, so I hope we get to hang out more. They are all doing really great things here too! BIG up to those Tar Heels! Word. And then I PARTIED! The Chinese New Years Party was so much fun. Look at the pictures! I know they are RANDOM, but whatever. l00k! And that was that.

Mmmm...well, let's see. Um, and today I went to an open call for the new movie DREAMGIRLS for extras and background actors, as you know. I mean, it wasn't really a big deal. We stood in line, filled out paperwork, and they talked to us, took our pictures, and done. BUT, I did get chosen to do it for sure! So that's cool. Basically, I am going to be in the movie! I AM GOING TO BE IN A MOVIE! It's totally extra work, BUT whatever, I'll get to do it! So, that's exciting. I have a fitting on Wednesday! And the scene shoots on Valentine's Day. And there'll be other scense! So, *shruggs*, I guess now I can say I am a "working actor" haha. Meghan pointed out today that this really is my FIRST gig as an actor and getting PAID for it. This is good too because this gets me closer to SAG. It's exciting. I'm sure I'll have stories. I hope BEYONCE will be there! haha. So, whatever. Not that big a deal. When the movie comes out, my scenes will all be edited out anyhow haha. So...yeah.

Well, that's that. I hope you four are having a ball. It's already February. And, I hope life is great. FUCK DOOK!

Love ya. Word. Pz.

Update

Kelly,

We are in a secret fight.

since I seem to be...

...the ONLY one INTERESTED in this blogg lately, I'll just have to keep it up. SO, CLEARLY Brokeback Mountain (*clearing throat*) is now the #5 MOVIE in America after this weekend. After falling off the top 10, it is now back up beating out Narnia ANNNND King Kong (ok ok ok, granted both of those other movies made over 200 million at the box office, but whatever right....). So, as you know Movies don't just DO THAT. That doesn't happen. Usually when a movie dies down it...dies down. But not this movie that people seem to be watching (cough...Kelly). HAHA. Ok, I'm done with this whole thing, I swear!

Kelly, you may not have liked the movie (which we still need to talk about), BUT I know you'll LOVE the soundtrack which is clearly AMAZING! OH MY GOD it's so good. SOOOO GOOD! LISTEN to it! Okay. Any birthday wishes Kel?

Ummhmmm...I'm OUT!

OH, ANNNNNNND, my roommate and friend went to go see Brokeback this AFTERNOON at 4:15, but she could NOT. You know why she couldn't see it? DO YOU? It's because it was SOLD OUT! That's RIGHT! IT WAS SOLD OUT! NO MORE TICKETS! On a Sat. AFTERNOON in the biggest theatre I've ever been too! People are WATCHING this movie! BAMMMMMMMMM! SOLD. OUT. !
